If you are having trouble logging-in, please determine the following:
- Have you registered your Travel Alberta Holiday Card?

If you haven’t already done so, once you receive your card, you will need to register it by filling out the registration form found at www.travelalberta.com/card/join. Registering your card allows you to choose a username and password, which you use to login to the Card area of the Web site. Registering your card also provides you an opportunity to opt-in to receive valuable information on the Travel Alberta Holiday Card program.

Travel Alberta takes a number of security measures to help protect your account information. However, if you suspect a security problem with your Travel Alberta Holiday Card account or the service in general, please report it to Travel Alberta.
For example, you should report a security issue if you suspect that:
- An unauthorized person has accessed your Travel Alberta Holiday Card account.
- You have received suspicious e-mail regarding your Travel Alberta Holiday Card account.
Note: If you are just having trouble logging-in, this is probably not a security problem. See Why can't I log-in? above.

How do I log-out of the Travel Alberta Holiday Card Web site?
The log-in option you use applies only to the computer you are now using. You may use or select a different log-in option when you log-in from a different computer.
Type your username and password (default). Normally, if you are using a home or office computer, you can type your username and password to log-in and select Remember Me so that you remain logged-in to your account until you click Log-Out, even if you close the browser window or turn off your computer. Travel Alberta recommends that you use this option only if you are the only person using the computer.
Note: If you're sharing a computer with other people (such as at a school, library or Internet café), Travel Alberta recommends that you don't select Remember Me. If you are always logged-in to your Travel Alberta Holiday Card account when this computer is turned on, someone else may be able to use your account without your knowledge.
What are cookies?
Travel Alberta websites use session-based (temporary) cookies that are created whenever you visit our sites and last up to one hour following the duration of your visit and are then automatically deleted by your own computer and our servers. Session-based cookies are mandatory in order to be able to log into applicable sections of our websites (e.g. the Travel Alberta Holiday Card).
In order to further personalize your experience on our websites, certain features depend on the ability to automatically issue a "persistent" cookie (a cookie that is stored in a file on your computer for a time period of typically 30 days).
Certain versions of web browsers can be configured with settings that generate a different alert, depending on these two types of cookies issued by our sites. In the course of visiting our sites, if you are ever prompted to accept a "persistent" cookie, you can simply refuse to accept the cookie request and still have general access to most content and functionality with our websites. Note that where indicated some content and functionality will not be accessible unless session-based and persistent cookies are enabled on your web browser.
